Loop B
Loop B is musician, composer, sound designer and electronic music producer. He plays keyboard and percussion over electronic bases.
He creates instruments to play: gas tank, fridge, washing machine, cannon bullets, toy sword, car dashboard and others.
Loop B teaching too. He works with two kinds of workshops: percussion with scrap iron and digital musical composition.
DISCOGRAPHY (SOLO):
Quixotes do Amanhã (2006) - an original soundtrack with ambient music and some beat tracks. Loop B play live in the spectacle of the dance group Companhia de Danças de Diadema.
A Música Toca (2003) - a Brazilian song’s CD, intermixed with instrumental tracks. This work contains some partners: Chico César, Rebeca Matta, Stela Campos, Moisés Santana and others MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) composers, with the musical production of Mauricio Bussab, leader of the band Bojo.
De Onde (2000) - a mix of Brazilian folk rhythms with electronic music.
Spray (1997) - a techno music album containing, besides the main tracks, 30 little experimental tracks and a long acoustic piano track.
Techno Totem (1995) - a K7 with six hard industrial tracks.
Midnight Mirage (1992) - a mix of techno pop, EBM (electronic body music), experimental and industrial music.
RECENT COMPILATIONS:
The Rough Guide to Brazilian Electronica - released in UK and USA, containing “Chegando De Lá”, by the album A Música Toca.
Rumos Brasil da Música - released by Itaú Cultural, a cultural institution that foment the Brazilian art. It is a box with 9 CDs - a chart of essential independent artists. Loop B appears with two tracks by the album A Música Toca: “Vivendo A Vida” and the radical “Samba da Furadeira” (Hammer Drill Machine Samba).
